The Southlake Women’s Club is thrilled to present Art in the Square to our friends new and old, neighbors and visitors, and art enthusiasts of all ages. Nationally ranked in the top tier of juried art shows, Art in the Square abounds with opportunities for the entire family to experience and to celebrate fine art. Since its beginning in 2000, Art in the Square, with the generous help of our sponsors, has raised more than $1,000,000 to help fund charitable organizations serving women and families in NE Tarrant County.

Mark your calendars for April 15-17, 2011, and come drench your senses in the art, music, crafts, and food of this three-day juried art festival, free to the public. Stroll down the tree-lined streets of Southlake’s celebrated Town Square and visit with the creators of museum-quality art. Kick back to the continuous beat of national and regional performers on two stages while sipping your beverage of choice and munching on your favorite festival eats. Bring the family! Kids of all ages will enjoy various activities in both the Fun Zone and Kids Korner. The youngsters will revel in the hands-on creative arts activities while enjoying their very own youth-oriented entertainment stage. Wrap up the evening on Saturday under starlight, grooving to the beat of our headline entertainment and head back for smooth jazz on Sunday morning.

This year’s event will feature over 140 artists with representation from across the country as well several international artists. Works include 2D medium, 3D relief and sculpture ranging from the traditional bronze to outdoor metal to multi media decorative sculpture and photographic art. Area high school students will even participate in a juried “Youth Art in the Square."
