There will be no seventh inning stretch or rally caps needed when the ex-Kansas City Royals outfielder turned country music star, Derek Sholl, takes the stage on Saturday, April 25, at 8:30, as the Art In The Square 2009 headliner.
Eight years ago, Derek Sholl retired his baseball mitt, replaced it with a guitar, and has never looked back. Derek is now full speed ahead with a strong country music career clearly in mind—and being nominated for “Best Male Country Artist” at the L.A. Music Awards and recording 28 original songs in Nashville is an amazing start.
His style ranges from true chart-topping ballads to contemporary southern-rock and everything in between.
