Art in the Square

Youth Art

Young artists can participate in the festival, too!

  • Youth Art in the Square is a juried exhibit specifically for high school students.
  • The Square Art tent displays a sampling of student art from local K-8 schools.

Youth Art in the Square

Youth Art in the Square provides aspiring high school artists with an invaluable opportunity to experience firsthand the entire scope involved in a world-class art festival. In 2008, many chosen candidates received prizes, including cash awards, and were given the opportunity to sell some of their artwork. Students who participate in this charitable event not only represent their schools, but time volunteered may count for high school community service hours. All interested high school students (including public, private, and homeschooled students) within NE Tarrant County may participate in the juried selection by filling out the application and description form below and sending them in with a CD of no more then three different pieces photographed by April 2, 2009.

Please submit application to Mary Davis.

K-8 Square Art

Make sure to check out the Square Art tent this year. It will feature a sampling of what lines the halls of our Southlake schools, from kindergarten through eighth grades. Through the cooperation of our art instructors, over 150 creations of varied media will be displayed.
